Race Planner

A stint plan that checks the flag, the tank and the pit rules while you type.

Race Planner turns your lap times, tank size and the pit rules into a complete plan for one car and one race: the stints, the fuel, the driving time per driver, the qualifying runs and the time each driver must be ready. Every number recalculates as you type, and the whole team works in the same plan.

01 · Lap times and fuel

The planner works out lap times and fuel before the first stint.

Enter the dry and wet lap times, a neutralisation margin for Code 60 running, the pit stop time, the mandatory pit time, the tank size and the fuel per lap.

The planner shows the corrected lap times, the maximum laps per tank and the expected number of race laps, and every stint uses them.

  • Dry and wet lap times with a neutralisation factor
  • Mandatory total pit time, such as the 8 minutes of the NLS
  • Formation-lap fuel taken off the first stint
  • Maximum laps per tank and expected race laps

02 · Auto plan

Auto plan builds the shortest schedule that reaches the flag.

Auto plan builds the fewest stints that still reach the flag, keeps every stint within one tank, deals out the laps evenly and gives each stint to the driver with the least driving time so far.

When the mandatory pit time needs more, it spreads the extra time evenly over the stops. Wet stints, driver changes and laps can be adjusted by hand afterwards.

  • Fewest stints to the flag
  • Every stint within one tank
  • Equal driving time, and never the same driver twice in a row
  • Mandatory pit time spread over the stops

03 · Flag and warnings

The plan shows where the flag falls and what is still wrong.

The race ends when the clock runs out, but the car finishes its lap. The planner marks the stint that takes the flag and how far it runs past the race duration; laps planned after the flag do not count for fuel or driving time.

Warnings appear when the plan ends before the flag, when a stint needs more fuel than the tank holds, or when the mandatory pit time is not met. Every stop shows how much mandatory pit time is still open.

  • Takes the flag, with the time past the race duration
  • Fuel used and fuel left per stint, in red when over the tank
  • Mandatory pit time left after every stop
  • A progress bar from setup to race-ready

04 · Qualification

Plan the qualifying runs with tyres and fuel.

Plan one run per driver with start time, laps, tyre set and fuel. The planner works out the planned kilometres and the fuel at the start and after every run.

Log the lap times during the session, and the summary ranks the drivers with the gap to P1.

  • Run order, start time and planned laps
  • Tyre set and fuel per run
  • Lap times with the best lap and the gap to P1

05 · Drivers and be ready

Balance the driving time and call every driver on time.

The drivers view shows the stints, laps, driving time and share of the race of every driver, so the line-up stays balanced.

Be ready gives every driver the time to be at the car: when the previous driver gets in, or a fixed number of minutes before the own stint.

  • Driving time and share of the race per driver
  • Stint breakdown with wet stints and stops
  • Be-ready time per stint, in two modes

06 · Pit-wall sheet

Print everything on one sheet for the crew.

Export PDF prints the plan on one light sheet for the pit wall, the crew and the drivers. Open warnings are printed at the top, so nobody works from a plan that does not reach the flag.
